Market Research and Consumer Insights Skills

  • Understanding and managing data sources, tools and technology – validating the same to ensure that data extracted is credible and sufficient
  • Advanced proficiency in Social Media Monitoring tools eg. Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon, Unmetric etc.
  • Building processes that support transformation, structure and analysis of Social Data that is extracted from Social Media Monitoring tools
  • Using statistical methods to organise information.
  • Analysis and interpretation of data, to identify patterns and solutions
  • Ability to develop a holistic point of view on influencer, marketer and consumer conversations around a particular topic trending on Social Media
  • Ability to read social data, beyond traditional Social metrics
  • Advising clients and/or senior management on how to best apply research findings
  • Taking independent charge of report preparation, supervised by team leader
  • Ability to independently liaise with clients, evangelize ThinkBumblebee frameworks and solutions
  • Preparing case studies and other collaterals required by Sales team

Project Delivery skills

  • Extract social data, process it, analyse it and generate rich insights out of complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data coming from varying sources
  • Generate insights and recommendations for clients
  • Actively build and grow the Social team’s mastery over Social Media Monitoring and research tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in any discipline (an added advantage if the candidate has a degree in Social Science, Culture Studies, Psychology or Marketing)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Business Communication
  • 2-5 years of work experience in MR/ Advertising/ Digital agency including exposure to Client servicing/ Account planning/ Qualitative/ Quantitative Research
